Here's my list of the everything of E3 2006 from EA Games to Wii, from the best to the worst most dissappointing.  Click Read More to see.

UPDATE: more pictures!

MAIN ATTRACTIONS:

EA Games had a very impressive booth, with previews of Madden 07, NCAA 07, and Battlefield 2142 ready to play. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to play Crysis(at EA's booth), but they did have their own employees showing it off.

Sony also had their PS3 there(unlike they had previously stated).  Gran Turismo looked beautiful, as did the other games available there.  Racing the motorbikes was fun, and it was nice to have the feel of the good ol' PlayStation controller in my hands.  Sony also had Warhawk and Resistance: Fall of Man available to demo.  Both very impressive looking graphics wise.  As you can tell from the large server rack, the PS3s are still under heavy development.  Well, at least they didn't hide them like Microsoft did when they powered 360s with two Apple G5s.

Nintendo also brought out their impressive Wii system.  I also got to play Madden 07, and I have to say, the gameplay was awesome.  Totally different than the 360/PS3.  Throwing, kicking, running was just awesome.  I'll post a video later.  In the meantime, here's a few pictures of people playing the Wii.

It seems that word spread about the Wii, and by the next day, the line to see the Wii was massive.  Here's a short video I took of how long the line was.

Nintendo Wii Line.

Microsoft also used E3 to show off their upcoming Vista operating system.

nVidia and AGEIA were also there showing off their physics processing solutions.  From the demonstrations available, it was readily apparent that AGEIA was much further than nVidia. (nVidia only had one screen showing the following simulation you see on the 1st picture, AGEIA had demos of 2 games)

OTHER HAPPENINGS:

At the nVidia booth, a 19" Alienware laptop was shown, along with a few other DELL machines, and a Toshiba laptop with a HD-DVD player:

Square Enix also had a large booth, but they weren't allowing people to take photos.  I got this one off just before someone told me to stop.

BOOTHS:

I have to say that EA and Nintendo had the most impressive booths:

And last, but certainly not least....

BOOTH BABES:

Officially, booth babes were banned from E3, but that didn't stop these daring women:
